I have posted my old routine here on the blog and recommend it for anyone who is new (or not) to bodybuilding. It helped me gain 13lbs of muscle so I’m confident it works! But I myself have been experimenting with routines and are trying new one currently. I now am into Total Body Training routines that train your hole body in one workout instead of splitting your body into parts. My newest routine is:

Workout A

Squats 5×5
Bench Press 5×5
Barbell Rows 5×5
Lunges 5×5
Reverse flies 3×10

Workout B

Deadlifts 5×5
Overhead Presses 5×5
Pull ups 5x to failure
Dumbbell Rows 5×5
French Presses 3×10

I workout 3 times a week (NOT MORE!!) and I rotate days in this way:

Monday: Workout A
Wednesday: Workout B
Friday: Workout A

Monday: Workout B
Wednesday: Workout A
Friday: Workout B

If anyone wants and IS an intermediate (more than 6 months of experience) in bodybuilding then you might try it along with me and see how it works!

Best of luck,
Adrian

Looks like the stronglifts 5×5 program, I’ll definitely try it out when I go back to campus.

Hi Diego,

well Stronglifts.com routine is based on book Starting Strength and some other info, mine is also similar to what Starting Strength suggests.. We both read the same book :) Definitely recommend reading it…
Best of luck
