Advice you don’t like to hear!!!

I know that I and other guys don’t like to hear some advice. We know it is truth, we know we should be listening to it, but still… there is something that doesn’t click and we don’t listen. We ignore it. Well, I try to stop my ego from interfering with my training and to listen to such an advise. Here is some advice you wont like probably:
1. Just EAT!
It is incredibly simple. Just eat enough and you will gain muscle. When I started I remember I would be pissed off when someone gave me this line and thought “NO IT’S NOT THAT EASY FOR ME”!!!! And I’d ignore it, move on to the next forum or next site and read new advise… but I’d get this continually and everywhere..
And that is good because it is really that simple! it REALLY IS! The eating part is most important in gaining muscle. Of course, it is simple, but it is not easy! And I will be finishing that Nutrition Guide I promised to help you with this!
2. Train legs, not only your biceps/chest and abzzzz
So many guys just want to look good in the mirror and forget that legs and back are huge muscles and give are very important in having a great beach body. And having beach body is probably goal number 1 for skinny guys! Remember, beach body is not only what you see in the mirror…
So go and squat your ass to the grass and do deadlifts and barbell rows!
3. Progressive overload
Don’t forget to keep adding weights to the bar as you get stronger! I used to “forget” to add weights myself, not because I literally forgot to add them, but because I got comfortable with the exact weight on the exact exercise and I was lazy to push myself. And when you don’t push yourself in the gym you wont progress as fast. This doesn’t mean you keep adding weights every workout and every set, nope, but just add weights when you can do 3 sets and 10 reps on the exercise. And then train until you can do that sets and reps with the bigger weights again.
4. Stick to one program
Oh this one is very very popular. Guys read a million of forum posts, articles all promising ideal workout and change it every two weeks. No wonder they don’t gain anything, you CAN’T be jumping from one thing to another. Don’t even try changing a workout if you haven’t trained for at least 2 months with it.
That’s it for today! Now I’m going to read stuff and learn about nutrition..
