Understand that a lot of protein will cause acne not peanut butter itself but a lot of protein, every bodybuilder has them, it just comes with the goal. Sometimes you fart a lot because of protein shake man :P

Both are good, I personally prefer 5x5 to get strength and size. You get less pump from it but pump doesn't matter buddy ;) Since you have been doing 3x8 for a while switch to 5x5 for a few months to try it out. There is not much difference between them in terms of how muscles react to them, less reps means a bit more strength but both set&rep schemes are good for gaining muscle.

Hey Everone, I'm Jared. I live in Maryland, U.S. I think this site has been the best thing i've stumbled over EVER! Finally information that makes sense! :) I'm 15 almost 16 and i'm a sophomore in h.s. I'm about 5'8" and im roughly about 115-120 lbs. I don't have much things to workout with. Just my body weight and two 10 lbs dumbells. I want to get a bench press soon though. Any ideas for a routine specifically for me until i get a bench press and barbell? Thanks. I'm trying my best.

Also, i don't have any shakes. Before i workout out (at home) i drink 1 ensure (nutrion drink) its the best i can do. It has 9grms of protein, 41 grams of carbs, 6 grms of fat, and 250 calories. Right after workout, i drink two more of these. Then after a shower i eat. I hope this is good. I probably get 60-80 grms of protein a day. I want to start back sports next school year but i need to bulk up a little. Thanks!
